The independent Americans; we entered upon the world scene in the late eighteenth century and have influenced it mightily ever since, often for good, but sometimes for evil.  No crisis has been too difficult for the will, the might, and the sheer determination of this unique conglomeration of cultures to overcome.

World wars have been but mere opportunities to lead the world into the next great era.  Economic crises have shown themselves as minor bumps in the road to the gold our nation seems to find at the end of each rainbow.  We have provided the world with the vast majority of  its luxurious trappings and amenities through our ethic of hard work and inventiveness.

Any natural or unnatural disaster the world has endured has created the opportunity for American volunteers and military working side-by-side with the victims to clean up, clear up and mop up.  Every nation defeated in every war has been restored to its former pristine condition by the defeating nation - America.  In modern times, we have believed that we can do whatever needs to be done, alone, if need be.  And we have been wrong.

The clear and abiding principle that has been the cause of our unchallenged success as a nation has not been our will, our determination, or even our inventiveness.  No, the true cause of America's emergence as a superpower over the past two and a quarter centuries has been that GOD has been behind the scenes, blessing, protecting, and reviving.

Today, as the horrid pictures of airplanes crashing into buildings still play like a movie in our minds, our national will is firm.  We are convinced that we will defeat the enemy and that we will again be able to enjoy a life free from the fear of terrorism.  And we will do it alone if we must.  The difference now, though, is that God may have removed His participation in that conflict - at our invitation.  And therein lies the danger for all Americans.

He Alone Ministries is convinced that the Lord God, while still completely active in the lives of individual believers, churches and ministries, has removed His hand of protection and blessing from America as a nation, at this nation's request.  As you travel through the pages of this website, you will find the why's and wherefore's of that statement.  BUT the good news is that He has provided for us a way to regain our former national spiritual status.  That way is described comprehensively in II Chronicles 7:14: "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Notice that God is talking to His people.  We, the followers of the Lord, Jesus Christ, have, for the most part, stood idly by while our national leaders have forsaken every precept upon which this nation was founded.  We have ourselves to blame and we have ourselves to look to if God is to be a part of this great American experiment again.  We must do our part, and then God will surely do HIS.
