FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We often receive questions relating to the website and the overall thrust of the ministry.  Below are a few of the most frequently asked questions.  If you would like to have your question answered, and it would, in the opinion of the webmaster, provide clarification or present other benefits to our visitors, we will print it on this page.  Send your questions by clicking here.

Q.  I have reviewed your website and it seems that your primary calling is in the area of national revival.  How do you hope to achieve this?

A.  First of all, you are right concerning Brother Paul's passion for a renewed America.  But we certainly do not hope to achieve this.  Rather, our hope is that God will achieve this, after the Body of Christ in America has prepared the way according to the precepts outlined in II Chronicles 7:14, by humility, prayer, seeking God's face and turning from our wicked ways.

Q.  What part in national revival do you hope to see the Declaration of Dependence play?

A.  It is our vision that this document will serve only as a reminder that we cannot hope to effect revival on our own; we must depend entirely upon the Lord for revival to break out.  We can envision a nation where every American Christian home has a copy of the Declaration displayed as a symbol of where we are as a nation and where we should be.

Q.  Where does the local church fit into all of this?

A.  The local church is, of course, the most integral part.  Our dream is for each Bible-believing church in America to dedicate itself as a "II Chron. 7:14 Church", with each member family dedicating his or her home to those same principles.  With a coordinated effort, this ministry, and others like it, can work with the local churches throughout America to set the stage for God to do His work.

Q.  Is revival really needed, and if so, why now?

A.  For more than half a century, America has been on a steady decline in morality.  Our nation has fallen prey to a false concept of "separation of church and state", a phrase which does not appear in the U. S. Constitution, and which has been taken farther by an out-of-control Federal court system to mean "protection of the state from the church."  The result is to remove God from virtually every area of our society.

It is the premise of He Alone Ministries that America was founded as a Christian nation and had continued as such, virtually unabated, until a liberal God-less cancer began to spread from sea to shining sea.  This cancer has put our great nation into a state of critical condition.  God cannot continue to spare our country the fate of other nations which also historically fell from grace; September 11, 2001 was evidence of that.  We must, as a nation, turn back to God - the TRUE God.  Click here for more evidence that America IS a Christian nation.

Q.  What about other religions and their part in America?

A.  America has a history, even since colonial times, of acceptance of other beliefs.  But that history was one of allowance, rather than placing other religions on an equal footing with Christianity.  Our laws and our culture were based on Biblically sound principles.  This prominence of the faith of our fathers, in our estimation, has been the primary cause of this nation's rise to become the most successful country in the history of the world.

To clarify further, the principle that the "state" should not embrace one religion over another does not refer to a comparison of Christianity with, for example, Islam.  Rather, it always referred to a preference of one Christian denomination over another.

There is nothing biblical about tolerance of other religions over the true faith.  To the contrary, there is much to warn us against embracing that which is not of God.  This is not an indictment against any people, but it is clear that God is a jealous God and we are to put no other gods before him, or even place them in an equal position.

More to come...
